It was a great day of adventure at the Georgia Aquarium. Students were able to see many of the animals we have studied. They even got to touch a few of them!

Thank You Point University Students
Point University partners with the CCATS to provide wonderful programs for our students. Shown above are CCATS students in front with Point students behind them. The students participated in various centers from countries around the world. Students ate food, played games, listened to stories, learned songs, and created art that represented various countries. We appreciate our Point Partners!
Tower of Spaghetti! How high can you go?
Third graders were challenged by Auburn University Engineering students to build a tower of spaghetti and marshmallow. The highest structure that held for two minutes won the challenge. These guys gave it a try!
Auburn Engineering Egg Drop Contest
During our recent visit to Auburn Engineering students were given the opportunity to design a structure that would keep a raw egg from cracking upon impact. Teams then tested their designs by dropping the egg in the contraption from the top of the Engineering Building. We had a few crack but most were a success!
Paper Mâché Fish
4th Grade CCATS studied fish and their fins. After learning about the location of different fins students created a paper mache version of their imaginary fish and included the proper fins.
